This project is a Alcantara dash restoration on this very special Ferrari Barchetta.  Alcantara is a tradename given to a composite material used to cover surfaces such as a dashboard.  It is an artificial substitute for suede leather.

We are also redoing the bolster on the drivers seat which continues to be a problem for Ferrari.

The Ferrari Barchetta was derived from the Ferrari 550 and only 448 where produced four more than planned due to concerns of superstition in the Japanese market. This is a true roadster with no real convertible top provided
